Dallas Wedding Venues

What’s the first thing you do after he pops the question? Set a date and choose a wedding venue of course! I know brides are out there looking for the most beautiful Dallas Wedding Venues, so I thought I’d put together a list of my favorite Dallas Wedding Venues for brides looking for tradition, romance, elegance and old world charm in the heart of Dallas to help make that search a little easier!

The Adolphus

The Adolphus is a luxury boutique hotel nestled right in the heart of downtown and boasts plenty of old world charm for the romantic couple that wants a big-city celebration in a venue with traditional architecture that abounds with the opulence of the golden age. Your guests will be wowed by the grandeur!

This Dallas wedding venue has it all – suites for getting ready, accommodations for guests, as well as ceremony and reception spaces.

The Crescent

The Crescent is a luxury boutique hotel located un the Uptown district of Dallas, just north of downtown. One of its most unique and beloved features is a beautiful courtyard space that is often chosen for the ceremony location, and it also makes a magnificent backdrop for portraits.

One of my favorite details of the rooms are the balconnette railings and the french doors. This hotel also has an indoor space for ceremonies that also works really well for cocktail hour, as well as a full ballroom. The Crescent Dallas wedding venue has space for getting ready, accommodations for guests, ceremony and reception spaces.

If you are looking for a Dallas Wedding Venue with a European vibe, look no further than The Olana. With its sprawling grounds and absolutely breathtaking beauty, you would never know that this Dallas wedding venue is located in the heart of northeast Texas. This venue’s charm will instantly transport your guests to the French countryside and is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding day.

The Room on Main

The Room on Main is a traditional ceremony & reception space in the heart of downtown Dallas. My favorite feature are the windows that encompass three sides of the large room, filling it with the most beautiful light! The curtains framing the windows are just beautiful, and this is a truly elegant space that is both traditional and awe-inspiring.

The Carlisle Room

The Carlisle Room is one of the only Dallas Wedding Venues that features a distinctly Art Deco vibe. With high ceilings and enchanting details, this venue is very grand and is located in downtown Dallas.

Arlington Hall

Arlington Hall is the picture of Southern elegance and one of the most beloved Dallas Wedding Venues. It is nestled on the 20 acre Turtle Creek Park, filled with beautifully manicured lawns, flowering azaleas and stately live oak trees. Nothing says Southern hospitality better than Arlington Hall.

It features both indoor and outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces – it is only minutes away from various beautiful churches and from the hotels downtown.

Perkins Chapel

No post about Dallas Wedding Venues would be complete without mentioning Perkins Chapel! This little gem is located on the campus of SMU and is near many of the other reception spaces highlighted above, it is a favorite of SMU graduates as well as those who just appreciate the traditional architecture, symmetry and grounds that provide ample opportunity for beautiful wedding day portraits!

What’s Next?

While these are some of my personal favorites, this list is by no means exhaustive! Dallas has many more venues and quite a few of them are featured in my portfolio, so click here to see more Dallas Wedding Venues! Thanks for stopping by and best wishes for your wedding and marriage!

Wedding photography is about so much more than beautiful pictures of your wedding day - it is about the momentous curation of emotion and memories that are made on the day that two souls choose to be united forever. My heart for people, photography and all things romantic are what got me started on this journey of wedding photography ten years ago, and those same things are what keep me passionate about being a wedding photographer today.
